About Bench Bullying
Founded in Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada in 2014, Bench Bullying is a grassroots movement dedicated to spreading awareness of the effects of bullying as well as supporting those who have been affected by bullying.
At Bench Bullying, we believe in supporting both the victims of bullying as well as their bully as meaningful change cannot occur until all parties involved in bullying incidents are provided with the tools, resources and mentorship required to build self-esteem and become positive, contributing members of society.
Our vision for this movement is to remove bullying from all levels of our society (schools, sports and everyday life).Bench Bullying currently hosts a number of interactive anti-bullying focused events throughout the year, including: The Bench Bullying School Tour, an annual Bench Bullying Celebrity Basketball Game, Free kids basketball camps, back to school events that are all focused on spreading the awareness and effects of bullying.
